Nicole Yang

As a freelance illustrator and educator, Nicole has been a working artist for the last decade. Her narrative driven curriculum specializes in developing artistic skills through visual storytelling. For the past 6 years she has served as faculty of Illustration and Special Studies at CSUF and was named 2019’s “Outstanding Higher Ed Visual Art Educator” by California Art Education Association. In her own personal work she enjoys creating characters and experimenting with color and texture. In her spare time she takes care of her dog and cat and loves to draw stories about them.
